The Client Service Team is responsible for all aspects of our administrative relationship with clients and potential clients. The department aims to provide the highest level of service at all times. The role requires excellent product and system knowledge ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with Compliance and departmental procedures.
Responsibilities
- Answering all client telephone enquiries effectively and promptly.
- Meeting and assisting visiting clients and potential clients.
- Representing CCLA at organised events.
- Ensure that clear instructions are obtained from clients where doubt exists.
- Diarising and chasing correspondence to which a reply is required.
- Checking standard letters for appropriateness and accuracy (and issuing).
- Dictation of ‘non-standard’ letters.
- Maintain effective liaison with our administrators.
- Verify signatories of instructions over a specified value.
- Tracing and dealing with ‘lost’ client payments.
- Tracing and dealing with ‘lost’ client correspondence.
- Chasing unpresented cheques.
- Prepare Complaints Errors and queries for events originating within the team.
- Assist with Data Cleanse projects.
Competencies
- Written and verbal Communication skills.
- Maintain knowledge of CCLA products.
- An ability to effectively communicate with and engage the representatives of charitable investors.
- Working knowledge of the characteristics of the major asset classes and their appropriateness to the various circumstances of investors.
- A working knowledge of current charity and trustee law and the understanding of and empathy with the sector.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Able to actively listen.
- Confident and able to advise clients on CCLA processes.
- Work as part of a team, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Accurate, with attention to detail.
- Able to multitask and prioritise work appropriately.
Experience / qualification
Previous experience in Financial Services/Banking preferred.
