The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and other stakeholders in both CCLA and Jupiter AM to devise and implement a strategy to build out the CCLA brand and win new business with Faith investing institutions across the world. The immediate objective is to expand the CCLA offering across Christian faith-based institutions in Europe, South America, and Australasia.
An accurate assessment of total investment assets within Faith based organisations around the world remains difficult. Estimates vary widely but global Christian Faith liquid assets are likely to exceed $1,000bn. Meanwhile intermediation by investment consultants is underdeveloped. The successful candidate will be expected to build relationships with clients based on CCLA’s Christian values around ethics, inclusion, integrity, diversity and environment. They will be expected to work without close supervision, be willing to travel extensively, set their own agenda and communicate progress against agreed targets with all stakeholders. Long term success will be measured by the level of new business won; the successful candidate will need to be energetic, self-driven, tenacious yet sensitive to fit in, and accommodate the ways in which Faith organisations make decisions.
Responsibilities
Lead new business development with international faith organisation.
Promote the CCLA brand, investment capabilities and ethics.
Follow a structured approach to developing market leads.
Build relationships with faith institutions and faith related organisations.
Identify potential pools of investable capital within faith organisations.
Lead informal and formal discussions to win trust and confidence of potential clients.
Win profitable new business for CCLA.
Be an ambassador for the organisation willing to speak at industry events.

Experience/qualification
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record in respect of a combination of the following:
10 + years in financial services.
A bachelor's degree and additional professional qualification(s).
Sound knowledge of investment and broader global capital markets.
Able to navigate geopolitics and be cognisant of regional differences.
Have a background preferably within investment management or closely related area.
Sound knowledge of the main investment regulatory regimes, UCITS in particular.
Consistent success winning investment mandates from either institutions, charities, family offices, endowments or SWF’s.
Be comfortable and agile selling across the different Christian faith dominations.
Expertise operating successfully within different jurisdictions and regulatory regimes.
Languages including either French, Italian or Spanish would be an advantage.
